New foodservice packaging line represents logical extension of APT's leadership in frozen food industry.

Associated Packaging Technologies (APT) will have a lot to show as a first-time exhibitor (Booth 4935) at the National Restaurant Association Show, Chicago, IL, May16-19. The company will kick off a major expansion into foodservice with a new line of takeout and home meal replacement packaging. APT's sales team, along with George Frederick, Vice President of Sales, Marketing & Technical Sales, and Jeffery S. Lucash, National Sales Manager - Foodservice & Distribution, will be in attendance to promote the product launch and market expansion.

According to George Frederick, "Our polypropylene and dual-ovenable CPET trays are ideal for just about every segment of the restaurant and prepared food industries - fast casual, casual dining, QSR, supermarket, and HMR. To address growing demand, we have upgraded production with a multi-million dollar investment in our Cambridge, Ontario plant."

"We have packaging solutions for everyone from a single restaurateur to the national chains, and have created cost effective packaging that performs," notes Jeffery S. Lucash. "Being able to handle temperature and environmental changes from oven to microwave is a huge asset as people continue to turn to restaurants for quality meals on the go. We've been proving our packaging's value day-in, day-out for the world's leading food brands."

APT is the world's largest vertically integrated manufacturer of CPET dual-ovenable containers for the food industry, the leading source for plastic food trays in the North American frozen food industry, the first supplier (in partnership with ConAgra) to bring recycled PET frozen food trays to North America, and a major source for plastic food trays in other markets, including foodservice, case ready meats, institutional, and bakery. The company has thermoforming plants in: Cambridge, Ontario; Waynesville, North Carolina; Chillicothe, Missouri; and Carrickmacross, Ireland. APT is a member of the Sustainable Packaging Coalition and NAPCOR.
