APT is the first CPET thermoformer in the United States to offer RePET (recycled PET) trays, which deliver the exact same performance specifications as our CPET trays. APT is committed to offering the majority of its CPET trays, including meat trays, in RePET (recycled PET) versions, where applicable. All our plants have production capability for the new RePET trays. More importantly, our RePET trays use up to 40 percent post-consumer recycled plastic and divert a minimum of 10 million pounds of plastic from landfills every year. APT is committed to environmentally friendly packaging and has been recognized with multiple awards for its programs.
